Messages per guest over four days
Impulse sent each guest what they needed to know for the day: where to be, when their shuttle left and who they were playing with.
Genesis hosted VIP guests in Chicago for four days around the 2026 Presidents Cup. Impulse was their luxury digital concierge, guiding each guest seamlessly from the Waldorf Astoria to Medinah, Chicago Golf Club and the farewell dinner.
Impulse sent each guest what they needed to know for the day: where to be, when their shuttle left and who they were playing with.
Impulse delivered the photos from the golf, the dinners and the evenings to each guest’s private gallery.
The weekend moved between the Waldorf Astoria, Medinah Country Club, Puttshack and Chicago Golf Club. On the final day of the Presidents Cup, guests went straight from Medinah to dinner without returning to the hotel. Impulse sent a reminder 20 minutes before each shuttle from the hotel and told guests where to find the Genesis host team after play. Guests could reply in the same thread; the replies shown on this page are examples.
Shuttles left the hotel at set times, one as early as 6:00 AM, and the final day ended at a different venue from where it began.
A text before each departure from the hotel and a meeting point for the ride on to Puttshack.
Guests signed up once, with no app to download. From then on, Impulse sent everything to one SMS thread: where to be each evening, when each shuttle left and where to find their photographs.

Guests joined from a link before the weekend began. Returning guests were already on the list from a previous event.
Every message was personalized with the guest’s name. On arrival day, Impulse welcomed each guest and sent the evening plan, from the lobby call to the river cruise.
Pictures will appear in this gallery as they are taken.
The gallery filled up as the weekend went on, and the farewell message sent guests back to it.

Every message went out in the Genesis Hospitality Team’s name. The team’s messages for each day were set up in Impulse in advance, with versions for each guest group, and Impulse showed the team how guests used their messages and galleries.

Genesis saw how guests used their galleries across the weekend, without any guest data made public.
Genesis gave its guests one concierge text channel to follow for four days, with no app to download and no printed itinerary to carry.
Impulse handled the rest: each day’s plan by name, the shuttle calls from the hotel and the photos to take home.
