How this event lead capture calculator works
Contacts = attendees × capture rate. Expected customers = contacts × lead-to-customer conversion rate. Estimated revenue = expected customers × average customer value. Incremental revenue is proposed revenue minus current revenue.
Use unique, permission-based contacts you can actually follow up with. The same contact is not multiplied by the number of messages sent. Both scenarios assume the same customer conversion rate and value; contact quality may change these in practice.
Worked example
For 1,000 attendees, a 10% current capture rate yields 100 contacts. A 40% proposed rate yields 400. At 5% conversion and $3,000 per customer, that means $15,000 versus $60,000 in estimated revenue: $45,000 incremental revenue.

What capture rate should I use?
Start with unique contacts from your previous event divided by attendees. Choose a proposed rate based on your audience, consent process, and planned experience. The example rate is not a benchmark.
