What Is the Impulse MCP Server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to work with other software. The Impulse MCP server gives your assistant a set of Impulse tools, so your team can ask for an event page, an email or a guest list export in plain language instead of clicking through the portal. You stay in control: edits are drafts until you say publish or send.

Impulse MCP Server FAQ
What is the Impulse MCP server?
It is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants to your Impulse account. From a chat, you can create events, build invitations, RSVP forms and registration pages, prepare event emails, manage guest lists and check guests in.
What is the server URL?
The Impulse MCP server runs at https://mcp.impul.co/mcp over HTTP, with OAuth sign-in.
Is there a plugin for ChatGPT, Codex or Claude?
Plugins for ChatGPT and Codex and for Claude are coming soon. Today you can connect any MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers with OAuth to the server URL.
Can the assistant publish a page or send an email on its own?
Changes are made in private drafts. The assistant publishes pages and emails, or sends tests and broadcasts, only when you ask it to and to the recipients or audience you name.
Which Impulse data can the assistant see?
Only the features you and the connection have access to: events, pages, email templates, guests, check-in, messaging and photos.
Which plans include the MCP server?
All Impulse plans include MCP access, including the Free plan. Anyone can create a free account and connect self-serve.
Do I need an Impulse account?
Yes. Create a free account at https://portal.impul.co/signup, or during the connection flow with a verified email or Google. You sign in with it when you connect.
Can I do everything in Impulse from the chat?
Not everything. For features that are not in the MCP server, the assistant can open your Impulse events dashboard, and the full set is always available in the Impulse portal.
