The role Impulse played

A live communication layer for a moving conference.

ADWEEK House brought leading marketers and creatives to Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic for Cannes Lions 2026. The program moved quickly. Sessions changed, rooms filled, speakers arrived, receptions started, and different guests needed different information. Impulse gave ADWEEK a way to communicate with individuals throughout the conference, based on their agenda, access, interests, and context. Guests knew where to go and what was worth their attention. ADWEEK had a direct way to guide the experience as it happened.

One guest journey

A week of useful messages, one step at a time.

From the first opt in to the final follow up, Impulse worked like a live messaging companion for the week. Each guest could receive the update that matched their moment, their schedule, their access level, and what they had already done. Wayfinding, photo delivery, and links all came through the same message thread.

First contact

The guest opts in once and immediately understands what the channel is for. Updates, useful guidance, and captured photos all arrive in one place.

Client facing

A live view of the audience and the results.

Once guests were receiving useful communication, ADWEEK could see the other side of the system. Teams had a view of opted in guests, audience groups, targeted sends, gallery activity, and message performance as the week unfolded. The 1,435 signups were the people who entered the channel. The larger numbers show the message and guidance activity created from those interactions.

How the channel worked

Every message connected a guest group to the next action.

On the client side, Impulse linked the audience segment, the message, and the action ADWEEK wanted to support. That made messaging useful for conferences with multiple rooms, tracks, VIP groups, and shifting schedules.

Content after the moment

ADWEEK House drew the industry's sharpest marketers to the Croisette. Impulse helped turn that attention into directed movement through messaging. Instead of relying on static signage or broad announcements, ADWEEK could send guests the details that mattered to them. The result was a more useful guest experience and a stronger communication model for any event with multiple rooms, tracks, access tiers, or changing schedules.

Every number on this page is measured inside Impulse, tracked across guest opt ins, message delivery, photo capture, gallery activity, and event engagement. Not modelled, not surveyed, not estimated.

Beyond the room

Messaging kept the relationship going after the venue.

Impulse also helped ADWEEK carry brand touchpoints beyond the physical event. After guests attended a session, received a photo, or engaged with a message, the channel could send them to the client destinations that mattered most. Campaign pages, content hubs, websites, galleries, and other digital experiences could all be distributed through the same guest relationship.

ADWEEK reach extends beyond Cannes

By delivering photos, recap links, and relevant content directly to guests, Impulse gave ADWEEK more than a follow up message. It created shareable assets that could travel into LinkedIn feeds, social posts, campaign pages, and other client owned destinations after the conference.
